Three vehicles including an NStar truck collided on Route 28 in Hyannis late Friday night.HYANNIS - Despite the scene in these pictures no one was seriously injured in this crash in Hyannis. Police say the Chevy pickup (above right) driven by Manoel Ramos rear ended the Ford Contour (above right) driven by Arthur Lomba about 10:30 PM on Route 28 by Hiramar Road. The impact caused the Contour to collide with an NStar truck driven by Sean Knight which rolled on its side (right). Ramos reportedly failed a sobriety test at the scene and was arrested by Barnstable Police for operating under the influence of alcohol. Stylish 1919 townhouse

Just like scoping out the perfect shot, professional photographers Joseph and Anne Sachs allowed themselves time to find exactly what they wanted in a home. Having rented for many years in Baltimore's Roland Park neighborhood, they were seeking something with similar ambience.

"We wanted something with character," said Anne Sachs, co-owner, along with her husband, of Artful Weddings by Sachs Photography. "A classic-style house, with hardwood floors, high ceilings and a fireplace."

What they eventually found was a three-story red brick Georgian-style townhouse on Newland Road in the southeast corner of the city's Guilford neighborhood. Built in 1919, the home features slate roofing, white wood trim, a screened front patio porch and a third floor with dormers.

Wrigley Field would get new neighbors under developer's proposal for ...

A Chicago developer unveiled plans in the city's Wrigleyville neighborhood Wednesday night for a nine-story, mixed-use development with a hotel that would stand virtually eye-to-eye with Wrigley Field.

Representatives for developer Steven Schultz, who owns land across the street from the ballpark at the north end of the block bounded by Clark and Addison Streets and Sheffield Avenue, met with community members and Ald. Tom Tunney to seek support for the project.

Schultz wants to build two nine-story buildings connected by a four or five-story base, with a Hyatt Place hotel on the Clark Street side and residences at Addison and Sheffield. The hotel would have about 135 rooms, and the other building would contain about 150 rental units. There also would be about 100,000 square feet of commercial space on the land, plus a health club and 500 parking spaces.
